I can confirm this bug too here on my Kubuntu Feisty with KDE 3.5.6.
Restarting the session doesn't help here. I didn't specificly check the reboot.
But I had this option disabled for some time now and did reboot the system
since then.
Google didn't help me much as the only workaround I've found

Please, don't tell me this will be unfixed for users who went the dist-upgrade

This is not as rare as you think, and clean installing for lots of people is
not someting you want to do all the time. Isn't it possible to fix that with
upgrades? If some config broke sometime, it should be poss
closing the bug since it's fixed in feisty and we don't intend to
investigate this issue for edgy, which is not a LTS version, since
that's a minor one

The System Tools menu has been abolished. Nowadays if you install
gparted it recreates it just to contain gparted.

Hmm... I realize your reasoning for doing this, but I must say I found
gnome-cups-manager had a much clearer gui. Anyway, I guess this is the right
thing to do and then maybe fix the usability issues later.
However one anoying thing about it is the printing icon that appears in my
trayicon. It

Using update-manager and update-manager-core 0.59.23 I did not see the
distribution upgrade button. After updating to 0.59.25 in feisty-
proposed I saw that the distribution upgrade button was available.

Finally got to test Gutsy 32-bit Beta (20070925.2) on Sony Vaio SRX51P
since the unionfs bug is (almost) sorted - the PC started albeit a few
problems still reported for unionfs.
However, the Lucent WaveLan/IEEE version 01.01 mini-pci card that is
interfaced via the pccard interface and works fine
ogra, is the patch good?

patch seems to work, although there is still the message:

resume ok, but the next suspend gave a kernel panic. The next reboot, I
was able to suspend/resume more than 5 times
Seems, so both have the same pciid. The #129972 is older than this bug report,
but this is triaged, median and assigned to Audio Team already.
I would not like to loose this assignement ;)
