I think the behavior of taking 6% as 6/100 is correct to keep things
simple, when you do not give a % of something, it is interpreted as % of
1. This is the reason for 1360 - 6% giving the answer of 1359.94. The
argument can be that the calculator must apply the % of the number
before it, i.e. 1360

Solved for me ! I was using a Gusty 32 bits on my Athlon 3000+ 64 bits
(Asus A8V-VM), and recently we had some kernels updates so Grub was
booting on a 2.6.22.xxx i386 (!) kernel. Booting the 2.6.22xxx Generic
kernel, sound works again. To prevent this, I finally downloaded the
25th Daily Build of
firefox -P, then creating a new profile solved the issue.
I also tried deleting ~/.mozilla and running firefox as normal, which
also worked a treat.

I've installed Ubuntu on a machine with Intel D946GZIS mainboard (Intel
946G chipset), using the Feisty AMD64 Desktop CD. I've manually
partitioned the hard disk using Ubuntu's fdisk as follows:
/dev/sda1 HPFS/NTFS (empty)
/dev/sda2 Extended
/dev/sda5 swap
/dev/sda6 ext3 /
I didn't set a bootable
Today this crash happened after telepathy-haze crashed #145119.
I'm running empathy in gdb atm, so I'll keep you informed after it

we know enforce using D-Bus more and slowly reduce the importance and
need of hcid.conf.
