desktop felt way slower than on feisty. I tried disabling esd, but it
didn't help. The thing is that I laos tried to disable trackerd, but the

do have now stuff in /sys/class/backlight (a folder called sony with
stuff in it).
I suppose this is not a kernel problem anymore but more of a hal

Tim: please try to remove the "processor" module and see if this makes
the laptop suspend fine.
You will have to remove thermal and acpi_cpufreq, for that. Just in case
you don't know, the relevant commands should be (but please report any
failure)
