I followed the instructions on that page, and the syslog snippet is

I have an Asus M2N-SLi and have similar SATA issues with Feisty.
Feisty refuses to see my SATA drive.
All Edgy & previous have no problems. Problem evident in LiveCD and upgrade
from Edgy.
SATA drive is my home drive so disconnect isn't an option.

Installed Gutsy via a daily CD, it was marked as "current" when I
installed yesterday 25/9/2007, and updated this morning. When I click
on User Management I get an error that libpython2.5.so is not found in
path
>From running in the konsole:
adding User Management /usr/shar
If I install python2.5-dev it works correctly

It sounds like hostap_cs is simply missing the identifiers for your
card. Can you do
pccardctl info
with the card inserted and attach the output?

I have an IBM T23 with the same problem. I don't know about Feisty (I
never used it because of other problems), but it was working in Gutsy a
few days ago. There were some updates, and now it doesn't seem to be
working. The indicator pops up, but the indicator just stays all the
way at the botto
