I just ran into this bug and it almost cost me data with feisty latest!
For some reason when the forcedeth ethernet adapter locked up, it also
locked up two out of six of my sata ports (I'm presuming because of some
PCI bus issue). Luckily it was raid6, so the array is still functional,

Somehow you seem to have lost the clamav user on your system (this is
not at all typical - I've installed that same update on several systems
without issue.
Try this:
sudo adduser --system --no-create-home --disabled-password --disabled-
login --shell /bin/false --group --home /var/lib/clamav cla
I tried printing a document I created locally and it didn't show any
problems. Does the problem occur for you on all documents or just

On Ubuntu 7.10 (Gutsy) I was able to reproduce the reference to the new cell
being appended but when I went back to the original cell it was very easy to
remove the reference to that cell without retyping the entire number. So

I also realised that it happens mostly after I've cold booted the system
(thus not after a previous reboot, but after I powered on the laptop).
And most of the time, if it finally works, I can log in and out or I can

the empty glyph symbol for all the characters it normally displays. So I

I can only set my brightness correctly with:

I can confirm this, and that the visual artifacts only occur under
certain circumstances.
On the screen of my 6 month old laptop the image was dark, with a near
yellow-green tint, and appeared heavily artifacted, while others liked
how chocolate-like it was and couldn't discern any visual artifact
Same happens here. Everything worked fined in Feisty, in Gutsy doesn't. My
notebook is MSI S260 with ALC655 sound codec.

I believe this has been discussed in the forums... people are claiming
that it works if they set up links in the /usr/share/tomcat5.5 directory
for webapps to point to /var/lib/webapps5.5
As this is a setup problem and not a bug within tomcat, I'd like to mark
