It seems the problem did not really disapeared for me. The CTS protection
somehow got disabled on my AP.
After a power failure, my AP rebooted with CTS protection enabled, and the
freezes came back.
My above patch still fix the issue for me.

That way we won't have to merge the package, but sync it instead. You

Sorry for Rejecting your request, but 0.4.3.3 is the latest stable of
kmobiletools, and we shouldn't include beta releases in Ubuntu/Kubuntu releases.
Second, neither there is no one who packaged it, nor there is a UVE report.

You can switch to a virtual console with ctrl-alt-F2 and log in and copy
the xorg.conf. Then modify it to work and restart X.

I have the same problem. Uninstalling xserver-xorg-input-synaptics
worked , however this made my synaptics touchpad slow and not very
responsive. Which is not surprising.
