There is no mention in your references about the code change. The only
valid reference is the one given in comment #10 above, which concerns
the function:
alertpanel_error_log
which is used in sylpheed-claws and sylpheed-claws-gtk2
not the function:
alertpanel_error
which is used in sylpheed.
I can can confirm this on Gutsy on a Lenovo 3000 N100 (which has been

[Tribe5] Need to de-activated and re-activated to work right

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make
Ubuntu better. You reported this bug a while ago and there hasn't been
any activity in it recently. We were wondering is this still an issue
for you? Thanks in advance.
** Changed in: kmldonkey (Ubuntu)
Status: New => Inco
please try the latest driver (only x86 binary available):
http://users.tkk.fi/~tjaalton/dpkg/ati
also, run "dpkg-reconfigure -phigh xserver-xorg" to get a clean
xorg.conf. It doesn't generate a Modules-section anymore, and that could
help here.

I had a similar issue. Mine was solved by creating a /var/run/tor
