I felt it necessary to add my comment.
The patch applies cleanly, the package builds and install ok, and the debdiff
is very good work.
However, the icon appears to be based on the "old" nvidia logo design (with
NVTV written on the bottom half).
The logo and NVIDIA trademarks are clearly visible.
I agree LBX is integral to the X11 suite, and should be available on all
good distribution package managers.

mention that the dialog box was not hidden for me. It popped up either
after I clicked the broadcom checkbox or "Enable Firmware" for the
first time.

I had that problem, too.
I pinpointed the problem down to a setting on my router I enabled just
before the freezes started. Disabling CTS Protection (also known as
802.11b/g protection) on my router stopped my system from freezing after
bringing up the interface. You might want to try that.

I had feisty installed on /dev/sda1. Then I installed gutsy tribe-5 in
/dev/sda5. During the installation I removed the existing swap partition
and made a new (bigger) one. Then I created a new partition for gutsy
and it installed.
I think I just understood what 'lum' means in the changelog I quoted
above. snd-hda-intel.ko is now provided by linux-ubuntu-
modules-2.6.22-10-generic rather than linux-image-2.6.22-10-generic.

Manually unloading all sound-related modules (snd-hda-intel, snd-hda-
codec, soundcore, etc.) with "modprobe -r" prior to issuing "shutdown -h

Adding XPS1330 that has the same Sigmatel 9228 codec to this bug for the
