grub-gfxboot. Without the normal grub package upgraded properly, the
post-install script failed, leaving the kernel unconfigured. I
reinstalled the normal grub, ran apt-get dist-upgrade, and everything

over on other programs, the wait time before text is shown is also far

Getting more otput prove to be inpossible at this point.. The laptop will
not boot from extern cd-rom anymore - wird stuff. internal cd-rom does not
work on linux (never has - some kind of HD cd-rom - doesn't work propperly
on win-vista neither - works from the bios though..). Installed linux will

The "evolution-alarm-notify" applet doesn't give alarm, but if I manually open
evolution.
After I manually run evolution immediately pop-up the mail icon in the
notification area, and the bubble "... new mail ..."
I gues the evolution don't download the mails from mailboxes,

with a high cpu an hard disk load and then start thunderbird. The

.deb Archives should have the ability to have icon embedded into them so
when many packages are downloaded from a site like getdeb.net the user
can see what package equals what program by just looking at the icons

output. To do that, it needs to temporarily unplug the VGA.

I think we're OK since this is fixed in Gutsy. Backport isn't needed

I can confirm this in Tribe-5 on a Dell 820. Interestingly, turning off
indirect-rendering does seem to fix the problem.
