I have just noticed that the caps lock key does not work in the virtual
terminals: characters continue to appear as lower-case even when the

As far as I can tell, the headphone is paired (there's a bluetooth popup
asking for the password, which I enter, and then the bluetooth applet

I have a DELL Latitude D800 (Model PP02X), and I get the exact same
problem. It goes to sleep properly, but when I press the power button,
I see the HD lights blink and it turns on but the screen remains blank.

and updates on Gutsy. USB ports stopping to work every 10 minutes on a

Experience shows that enabling job labels detracts from the expected
default behavior, which is to have PDF files matching the name of the
document being printed. Users actually expect old documents to be
replaced by newer versions as well, which is why that feature is not
enabled by default. Thus,

WORKS. When I do the same thing in Windows Explorer the scrolling
automatically happens when I happen to type a file name that is not
within the window viewport. That behavior does not occur in thunar.

Tribe 5 CD still getting same issue. Tried cchanging to ati driver which
does not work. Did a system update / upgrade / dist-upgrade and still
had the same issue

Just to let you know that Tejun patch was accepted in 2.6.23 kernel and
it fixes the problem in many Toshiba laptops, like the U205.
Unfortunately, Tejun missed to add the U200 identification string to the
accepted patch and the patch was recently re-opened to allow the U200 to
be included. Anyhow,
This seems to be working correctly for me here on Gutsy with an Intel
940 graphics card (I can wobble a window underneath a bear with a red
bow tie. The bear does not wobble but presumably this is the correct
bearhaviour).

Searching within a page is possible with shortcut key Ctrl-F. A search
appear at the bottom of the screen. This works fine the first time.
But when the search panel is closed and another note is accessed,
hitting Ctrl-F or activiting through the menu 'Search' does not have an

Whenever I want to play a cd (origals) , I only get a very distorted sound.
I was able to play CD's untill a few weeks ago.
I am able to play sound which is on my harddisk or from an
internetstream and play video from the cdrom.
