I've tried Ubuntu Gutsy Tribe 3, and that did have the issue with
Firefox that I mentioned, as well as Synaptic being unable to download
anything. Firefox is completely unable to connect to any site I try.
So it does seem to be the same kind of issue as I experienced in Edgy.

When adding a LPD network printer in Gutsy there is no request for the
print queue. Whilst this is easily fixed for someone in the know,by
tacking it onto the end of the printer IP, it should be specified in the
setup wizard.

This problem is happening intermittently on closer investigation
to reproduce the bug stop dbus altogether, even without dbus something
like an image viewer should be immediately accessible regardless of
the status of another sub system, otherwise you are trying to make
a stack of cards that bug

in a command shell, it should not be an invalid command.

As the boost libraries also contain the version in the package name, upgrading
boost will force to rebuild all packages depending on boost libraries.
Ubuntu is also now in upstream version freeze (UVF), which means one needs to
get an exception to include this new upstream version in gutsy now.
I guess the bug report tool in Gutsy now works, after installing Gutsy tribal 5
and reinstalling gcalctool.
That is: information concerning the "problem" is collected, after which
Launchpad is opened.
It was not slow either as someone else reported it was.

I am experincing troubles with this "Failed to start the X server" since Ubuntu
