you are probably talking about adding that flag to imagemagick's
configure, not the ruby bindings (which don't support that flag anyway).
Please file a bug against imagemagick instead.

that's unchanged since Edgy. And the /etc/apparmor.d/abstractions/base

i am also having problems with powernowd and any other method of CPU
scaling.
i am using a GA-M57SLI-S4 motherboard from giga-byte with their most
recent BIOS update (F11b).
I hope it gets fixed soon as there a many posts about it.
