I'm curious to know if for those people who can suspend and resume, is
DRI enabled? I can only suspend if I disable the fglrx drivers using the
restricted manager and then reinstall xorg-driver-fglrx. This allows me
to run fglrx without the kernel module thus preventing DRI from working.

I have the same problem with mounting and umounting my Lacie drive.

I have a Thinkpad T61 with Atheros card. I am running Kubuntu Gutsy.
KNetworkManager (v0.2) is behaving correctly. Can you do a
sudo /etc/init.d/networking restart
in console and see if you can see WiFi access points afterwards

I used Suspend2 for a long time now on my old debian testing
installation. Because Windows killed my Linux I switched to Ubuntu which
uses swsuspend which make a much worser impression. A nice suspend
increases user experience a lot.
- Add suspend2 patches
- set hibernate scr
I just test the same machine and the same CD but with 512 MB a no
problem to do the Check Test. Is
the minimal hardware change ?
the problem is just with 64 bits version ?

Just another confirmation: I installed GG tribe3 to an ix86 machine
today and ran into this same bug. Using synaptic until debtags and
adept are in sync.

Just to be clear, I don't mean to say that this change should not be
done, that pdftk is a perfect example of an implementation of the spec,
nor that Ubuntu seeks to enforce passwordIsOwner, but rather that I
believe this is an upstream decision, and that fixing it on a
distribution-by-distribution
i get similar bug with an install of ubuntu 7.04 from CD with safe
graphic mode. ( it occurs when i was in this mode and after the
installation. i reinstall it from zero in normal mode then my progress
bars are back... )
