Well, that's how it's been for me. However one other person says
they've not been able to reproduce that. So, I can't say with
certainty whether that's the case.
I can say with certainty that loading up Ubuntu normally -- clean
install or Live CD -- and adding the mplayer/gnome
mplayer/gecko-media
I can try that. I did load up xubuntu and xfce and the problem
happened there as well. Is that sufficient or do you need something
else? I am willing to do whatever test you want.

imho the translations were broken from the start in the import process, not by
clueless rosetta users.
i was one of the users trying to get them into better shape for (ithink) breezy

I found out why this message occurs. We disabled MSI by default in
feisty because of too many problems. So the card reports it supports
MSI, but the allocation of the MSI fails since the kernel disabled it.
If a user wants, they can pass "msi" on the kernel command line to
enable it.

Alex, Izzy, I'm not sure where you get the idea that xterm should
generate those sequences. infocmp gives \EO5P for "function key 25", not
for "control-function key 1". Infocmp does not and has never had a
mechanism for specifying modifiers to special keys. It looks to me that
MC is in the wrong.

sure, I'll give it a try. I've been tracking when it happens, and it is
usually when I first launch Rhythmbox. I'll select on a streaming audio feed,
and then it may take up to 10 minutes before it starts playing. Sometimes it
starts immediately.

I am getting the same error and have exhausted all options in launching
Eclipse with different JVMs. What I need is to be able to run eclipse
under Sun JVM 5 or 6 but I always get this error. I am running Feisty
on 64bit AMD.
Has anybody found a workaround?

I encounter it when running Kubuntu 7.04 alternate CD. Machine is an
