Fedora 6 / Firefox 2.0.0.3 & 2.0.0.4!
But partition is NTFS, not VFAT. To the root partition (ext3) Firefox saves
correctly, but to the NTFS partitions sometimes add double extension, but
sometimes creates files with correct extension but zero sized and save nothing.

This script from juve works for me.
I turned off desktop effects. Made 4 desktops. Put the script in
/usr/bin/compiz just before the last line (there calls compiz.real). Turned on
effects.
I noticed when I made 1 desktop without effects and then switche then on -
there is no desktop switching (

I can see this , too, BUT ONLY WHEN I CLOSE THE OOFFICE WINDOW WITH THE
WINDOW CLOSE BUTTON ("X").
OOffice closes normally if you go the way File->Exit
Can you confirm that?
