The quite strange thing is that xine was working fine in edgy. I wonder what
changes were done.
Ok, I'll try to cope with gstreamer - but I warn you I'll create a bug for
everything that's not working ;)

gstreamer-properties is set to Autodetect. In xine I tried xv and x11
and both were not working.

charset. My language version of Windows use special characters in system dirs.
When Samba loading/saving dirs to server it using wrong charset. So dirs
changed their names
It was under a gnome terminal.

reinstall feisty, previously I had upgraded from edgy, but it was just

I had kde-guidance-powermanager deinstalled and not kde-guidance.
As I was using kpowermanger and really only need one powermanger, I thought I
could deinstall kde-guidance-powermanager.

All the KDE applications don't start under Ubuntu Edgy Eft.
It is reported "Exception en point flottant (core dumped)" when I launch them
in a terminal.

in a console, type "sudo killall hald", then, type the command "sudo
hald --daemon=no --verbose=yes" then wait for the messages to stop (many
should come out). then plug your hard drive, and copy

Downgrading back to pptpd_1.2.3-1_powerpc.deb made it working again.

This is a K-Menu replacement that aims to provide maximum usability.
It takes the best ideas from KBFX and Kickoff and is very nice.
It would be nice to have a more modern menu for KDE.
