Unsub'ing ubuntu-sru to clean up the list until this is fixed in feisty,
bug tasks are up to date, and above issues are resolved.

The Gnome interface on Ubuntu Feisty allows to open a file with a application,
on that screen it allows to filter existing applications.
It somehow doesn't filter using the display name on some of the applications
present, for example the Text Editor.
To reproduce:

The start of each job actually does seem to get sent to the printer, as
the HL-1650's LCD shows a green (i.e. informational) message such as "18
user SomeSite", i.e. apparently a job number followed by the user name
and job name. Apparently the printer detects and discards the subsequent
data as ga

Yes, I was unable to add or remove startup programs through the
system>preferences>sessions utility. As far as I can remember, the bug
didn't show up until after I had checked the "automatically save
session" box and/or clicked the "save session" button.

Got it. (I think)
Reproduce: Start any program that runs "nice", level 19, priority 39
(the absolute minimum there is), but eats 100% CPU. For example:
[EMAIL PROTECTED] or [EMAIL PROTECTED] or something like that.
Then open an OOo document with lots of embedded EPS graphics.
