will look into altering that dialog. I think something like "This
directory is marked as readonly, are you sure you want to remove it?"

as my knowledge goes I can't find any strange things in the console
messages before the drop to initramfs. It stalls with the alert that

hibernated state, sound does not work. I then suspend to ram and resume,
and sound is back.

I compiled a stock 2.6.21.1 from kernel.org. Same problem: when I resume
from suspend to disk the fan does not work.

I tried removing my /sys/power/image_size hack and editing /etc/fstab to
mount swap the "normal" way, and things still hung when resuming from
