Same problem occurring with my Epson Perfection 1670. When I load Xsane,
I get ONE good scan and then the scanner locks out. The power button
goes from steady green to flashing red and I have to reboot before it

My experience with the FF freezes are pretty similar to those described
above: if you click a link while a flash vid is playing, it hangs. If
you try to close a page with a flash vid playing, it hangs. Those are
very reproducible. And then there are those hangs while playing flash

I have two servers both with 64bit CPUs, both have a fresh feisty
install with all upgrades.
The only difference is that I have amd64 architecture on one whereas th other
is i386.
Somehow the i386 system can work

I'm not mistaken, mostly everybody using a fairly recent ATI graphics
card is experiencing this bug, at least for systems where SCIM is

I have been using kvpnc for quite a while and works just great. I believe it
has a dcop interface knetworkmanager could use with very little effort...

I think this may be a HAL bug, but could be caused by something else. When hald
is running it occasionally detects an audio CD in /dev/hda when there isn't one
there. This brings up Sound Juicer, puts an icon onto the desktop (I use
kdesktop), and

In the bug report I linked in the description we have had six people
experiencing the problem report what audio chipset they are using, it
appears that all six people have chipsets that use snd-hda-intel
Two people have reported trying pre-2.6.20 kernels and in both c
gossip-telepathy should be removed.
gossip package should depend on libtelepathy to enable telepathy support and
should depend on some CM like gabble.
I'm not sure empathy will be ready to replace gossip in time for gutsy,
it depends on contributions I get from the GNOME community.

I have the same problem in a Dell 640m with a Core 2 Duo 2GHz. After
resuming from suspend, one of the cores is locked at 1GHz, always the
one labeled CPU1. I have tried to use cpufreq-selector to force other
governors (it is in ondemand) but then something weird happens: when I
use it either with

accidentally clicking the undock button on my docking station.
