now ata support in their kernel instead they use ide-cs, so this is why
CF worked in debian.
Ok I'll try to fill a bug at bugzilla.kernel.org, and use an usb

Hi, I don't know if it will help, but I had no problem with my quickcam under
feisty amd64( I plugged, it worked). The problem appears when I installed
Feisty x86 32.
So, I think the 32 bits Feisty Kernel has a bug that is not present in the 64
bits version.

Hi,
This patch would fix the problem. I don't like it, because the output is
now wider and won't fit in a console window, even after decreasing the
space between columns.
IMO this should be rejected. Do you agree, Danny?

handle timezone information

Dear all
When I plug my external HDD drive to the computer (computer is on, with
Ubuntu loaded), plugging the HDD USB cable does nothing (apparently)
My external USB 2.0 HDD is only recognized:
1. At boot time, if the external HDD is ALREADY attached
2. Switching OFF/ON th

I'll mark this as "rejected", since it "works as intented".
Thank you for your report - it's technically correct.
But there is no proper way to fix this unless the output is wider (as
per the attached patch) or we add an extra line for that - both
solutions would be ugly.
