I'm experiencing a similar issue, only it doesn't actually crash. What
happens is the palm will time out and throw a "connection failed" error,
while the hotsync progress dialog on the computer continues
indefinitely, stuck on synchronizing ECalendar. I have to do a "killall
gpilotd gpilot-control-

Weirdly this just started happening to two fairly static (non-updated)
ubuntu 6.06's that a client has. The linux2go patch seems no longer
available and I have just updated samba smfs, and associated libraries,

I have one UPS (MGE NOVA 1100VA) connected to the only existing serial
port on the server. When upsd tries to connect to it through the mge-
shut driver I see plenty of "Permission denied" messages in syslog. I
have tried starting manually the driver with root rights through

I have the same problem on my Acer Aspire 1310 during Feisty
installation. Probably due to Fat16 partition. It says :
"There are no possible configurations for this fat type.
A bug has been discovered!!! "
When I go back, it asks me to fix this problem, if not it will use this
partition as it is

based on the existing code adding this option should be easy.
My opinion is that we don't need an additional command-line option as we
already have too many. My suggestion is that we add this "date"-option as
optional to --lc, like:
