I updated a server from 6.06 to 7.10. Afterwards the machine boots
(which was quite cool) but I d'ont get a local log in screen.
The boot process seems to hang on running rc.local,
but I think that simply the file in /etc/event.d are brok

Desktop freezes, keyboard doesn't work at all, only mouse works but I can't do

It happens when I try to return from sleep mode, but sometimes it crash
when dpkg is running from adept-manager or nobody is using the pc for a
while. Ctrl+alt+backspace restart it succesfully.

I use gnome-network-manager at first time with kernel 2.6.20-8. Since
then, a just had to reinstall ndiswrapper manually.
