With latest 7.04 beta updates (linux-generic 2.6.20.14.12), attempting
to start rtl8180 wireless with 104-bit hex WEP key hangs (at 28% in the
NetworkManager applet). This has been the case since the original 7.04
beta CD (I'm a newcomer, so I don't know if it worked with 6.10

The alsa-lib package uses a USB-Audio.conf which again uses the
card_name function to enable dmix depending on the actual USB soundcard.
Now whenever using a USB soundcard device I get:

I have the same problem with feisty:
When I do Switch user, the touchpad is not working.
However, if I go back to the old display (using CTRL-ALT-F7), and then
back (with F9), it works fine.
Need any files or logs?

Been working with this issue for some time now and the fix seems to be
the ipw3945 daemon not running.
On my T60 wireless stops working after a couple of suspends/hipernations
(never counted how many times though). Not until I read this bug did I
see the connection between the daemon not running a

just added a simple change to the script to make it more flexible.
Instead of:

I can no longer reproduce this bug for some reason. Everything seems to
be working fine when I click irc:// links now and manually entering them
via command line works also. Close this bug I guess?
