I have reset my wireless router and reconfigured the settings on the
router, I first tested Feisty without the need to have a WEP key for
connection and all seemed fine. I then added the WEP key settings and

Yes, I can confirm the fix. I've reproduced the error (by activating
"enable desktop effects"), then upgraded, then retried and it didn't
crash but simply say that it can't enable the desktop effects.

After clean install of Ubuntu 7.04 Beta (i386 alternate), update-manager
ran and downloaded some package from the net and prompted me to insert
CD-ROM to install updated. I didn't want to install packages from CD-
RO
This is in violation of the GNOME HIG, specifically
http://developer.gnome.org/projects/gup/hig/2.0/windows-progress.html .
Progress windows should have a title as they are on the screen for a
long time, especially this one.

the problem might have been provoked by adding another sound card beside the
already working on-board card.

can you try to play the URI while the token is valid from a command line
with "gst-launch-0.10 playbin uri=" and not what happens to a
comment? getting a GST_DEBUG_NO_COLOR=1 GST_DEBUG=3 gst-launch-0.10
playbin uri= log could be useful
