Prior to the issue of Feisty Beta I had had 2.6.20-11 installed on my
system (on hdc1) as part of the earlier Feisty package. Then 2.6.20-12
was added as an upgrade, but I found that that kernel first gave me this

I am having the same problem with Thinkpad A31 and with kernels
2.6.20-12 and 2.6.20-13. With 2.6.17* kernels my disks can be properly
mounted, but with the 2.6.20* I am getting these errors:

which are the default. At one point I might have changed it to see if it

Indeed. The ubiquity .desktop file ('Install') does contain the
translations, as well as a link to the .mo file, but nautilus does not
seem to use translations for .desktop files on the desktop itself.
'Examples' is not a desktop file, just a normal directory, and thus
cannot be translated.

problem between avahi-daemon interfacing with the atheros HAL.
Also, if in network manager "Automagic service discovery" (e.g., avahi-

uses the --exec argument to double-check it will kill the right process.
The problem on the live cd is that start-stop-daemon tries to match the
--exec argument /usr/sbin/gdm with /proc//exe (where is the
