Public bug reported:
suppose you want to print a 8 pages doc using only 1 physical sheet, the
most obvious thing i would do is (from the gtk print dialog):
- pages per sheet: 4
- print only: odd sheets
i'd expect to get pages 1-4 printed on the front side of my sheet, but i
end up with pages 1,3

Firstly, these logs are from Ubuntu 6.10, not Ubuntu 6.06.
Secondly, "/dev/boot" is not a legal GRUB device name. Use the partition
device name, which is apparently "/dev/sda3" in your case. Bug 90575
reports the lack of validation here.

Thanks for your bug report. This bug happened with KDE 3.5.5. In Feisty,
you should do a full upgrade (if you haven't already done). This bug
seems related to KDE bug 112960. Please try if happen also in KDE 3.5.6
(officially is not fixed) and post your result.
Thanks.
Marco.

Can you replace your file
/usr/share/foomatic/db/source/driver/hpijs.xml
by the attached one and then delete your print queue and create a new
one? Does your printer print correctly then?
Another question: Is your machine 32-bit (i386) or 64-bit
(amd64/x86_64)?
