Nope, I made a full reinstall of feisty herd 5, and upgraded the system,
now I have kernel 2.6.20-11-generic but inserting tifm_sd or sdhci or

you got it from. I guess you added a non-official distribution to your
/etc/apt/sources.list, or downloaded it directly from somewhere and

I have the same problem. ctrl+alt+backspace never restarts x. it stops
with a bunch of configuration stuff on the screen and just hangs. then
you have to ctrl+alt+f1 and reboot the computer. it's frustrating.

Twice since I've gotten Feisty, when update-manager runs it installs
gnome-games, even though I don't have that installed. Even though I go
back to synaptic and do a "Complete Removal", it has still come back and
installed it later through the update manager.

Unfortunately no, I can't do anything with my keyboard and mouse. The
only thing what I see a black screen. A good thing is that the computer
is not hang up, because I can ping it and to ssh from another host. I
guess the screen initialization is bugy.

Suspend/Hibernate doesn't work with nvidi
Some additional info (as well as two temporary solutions):
If the gdm script (this is the script being executed when we press
ctrl-alt-backspace) is launched in a terminal window, we have the same
behaviour: no restart.
However, if the gdm script is launched in a console the restart works:

I know you all are working wonders with Feisty - as I am using it right
now. But when the final release is out or when you have some time
please consider the above.
