rhythmbox never ends loading my music library from my server via ssh,

Yeah, sounds similar.
So I don't use mdadm, I removed it from the directory, so the bootprocess is
much faster (no wait for timeout).
But it didn't fix my complete hang during the boot process, udev needs to be
executed before the dmraid script, so everything works fine.

Thanks for your bugreport.
I prepared a new apt upload that will explicitly exclude all direct
dependencies from meta-packages from being marked as automatic installs.
This should fix a lot of the confusion seen here.

I agree for Dapper. Edgy may not be a valid candidate for this patch,
but Dapper sure is. I'm willing to bet that anybody that is deploying
Ubuntu on a large scale level (e.g. companies/universities who are
giving money to the project for support,etc.) is using Dapper because of
the LTS. I serio
