1. I try to play a Real Video file with totem-xine. I get no video and no
sound, so I install libxine-extracodecs, now in Feisty renamed to
libxine-ffmpeg.
2. I try to play the
Subsctibed the ubuntu-pt team hoping that someone will do a patch to fix
the issue in the translation.

Kopete doesn't only lets you insert newlines at the beginning of
# rm /var/cache/apt/archives/libx11-*
# aptitude reinstall libx11-dev
$ md5sum /usr/lib/libX11.a

And now it works well
I feel ashamed to have filed this bug before I tried to do that, and to have
wasted your time... it won't happen again :)
I am not in a position to gather this information and likely won't be
for awhile. If it helps, I believe I also submitted this data to the HAL
folks so it may have been added upstream since I submitted this bug?

I cannot test this now as the printer is 300 km far away from my current
position, but that bug could be fixed with the following command:
sudo chmod a+rw /dev/usblp0
