I'm experiencing similar issues on my powerbook5,6 with an ATI
Technologies Inc RV350 [Mobility Radeon 9600 M10] card which is

UPDATE:
instead of an "apt-get install vlc" from the universe repo, i tried to compile
from source with "apt-get -b source vlc". Now the volume control is available
and effective, but the applet i estetically imperfect.
I run kubuntu in a amd sempron with a custom 2.6.19 kernel.

No, I had not installed libgadu3. I wonder why it wasnt installed?
I'd say this is a missing dependency bug, because gaim does look really
odd in the account configuration dialogue if you have an "old"
configured gadu account and no libgadu. And there is no apparent hint of
any kind to the user t

libgraph.so.2 is installed in /usr/lib/graphviz (default installation
path with the graphviz package)
So my application cannot open this shared library. I have to add the path into

I'm seeing the same with Eastern Time here. Even worse, calendar
invitations I receive are off by one hour. For example a meeting that
should have been from 4 to 5 PM was shown as 3 to 4 PM instead.

I cannot reproduce this bug. Using Kubuntu 6.10, KDE 3.5.6
This looks similar to a KDE bug filed last year but has already been
closed.

this is a valid edgy bug, but will not be fixed in edgy and it probably
works in feisty. Since no feedback was given for months I am closing

Hi, is it then possible to use feisty packages in edgy. I cannot simply
install it, because they depend on different libc version etc.
