Yes you are right. These information is pretty much useless for mono
apps. If you will, see if you can reproduce the crash by starting
beagled from a terminal (give "--fg --mono-debug" as an argument, it
will generate verbose output stacktrace). If beagled crashes, it will

No it isnt normal. However, it could be that beagled in just wrapping up before
exiting. You can try the following.

I tried changing the /etc/usplash.conf file to
yres=1152
xres=864
which is a resolution that works o.k. on my monitor,
but I still get the lines and jumbleg groupings before I login into the gnome
desktop, and the crash after I log in.
I will try a lower resolution to see if that fixes it.

We have a problem, Firefox or Feisty isn't creating a CoreDump.gz
file when Firefox crashes. I just tried to create a new folder again in
Firefox and it crashed. I went to /var/crash and there was no new file
created with todays date?

I am not using a smb mount (although I was thinking about doing that)
but my setup is like the last posting. My music is on a different mount
point than my /home mount point (I have 3 mount points: /, /home and
/home/ghyde/Media, media is where my music is).

Changing the script to bash worked for me as well. But changing the
symbolic link /bin/sh to refer to /bin/bash was also pretty good (when

Problem resolved by downgrading as well. It did not work imidiatly but

If I try to use wpa_supplicant in "managed mode" ie integrated with
/etc/network/interfaces, it no longer works at all in Feisty. Everything
appears to work OK, but the network simply doesn't work; pings aren't
returned etc:

I have upgraded from edgy to feisty. After I login kde freezes in less then a
minute. Nothing works, i even can't ctrl-alt-del, so the only way is a
shutdown. I irdtly thoght this would have been caused from xorg. I then
installed the fglrx driver for my ati card through th
re-assigned to module-init-tools. This may be an initscripts issue. In general
something need to wire the device to the driver like:
