I'm running Ubuntu Edgy under VMWare Server on top of Windows XP, Intel
Core Duo 2.67GHz, 512MB of RAM assigned to the VM. I leave the server
running 24x7 but Ubuntu seems to be rebooting about once a day (never
when I'm home, I'll get home from w
I can confirm this bug. I have a 1280x1024 LCD monitor, but I set
everything to 1024x768 when using my TV-out. Then when I switch Totem to
full screen the resolution is changed back to 1280x1024, resulting in
not having full screen video on my TV.

input support packages. Also, if you call it with 'MB' as first
argument, it prints out sizes in MB instead of bytes.

I had to replace my 5+ yrs old Dell Inspiron 8000 because the display
cable broke. I went shopping and finally decided to buy a

I'd like to withdraw my statement that it works in Debian, which is
_not_ true. Debians OO.o and gnomevfs (whichever is the problem) suffer
from the same issue.
But, as stated above, gedit does open/save files on a sftp share if

Yes, on 6.10 I'm still experiencing this issue.
I haven't tested it on feitsy...
Also, there are other symptoms that I forgot to tell you:
If 'caps lock' is on, and you press '2', it will write '@' instead of '2'. That
happens to ALL the keyboard keys, not just '2'.

do me a favour, try running beryl-manager --no-force-window-manager
if you are using a nvidia card, apparently there is a bug in the kernel,
as such most people are having to resort to that command, it cancels out
beryl-manager instantly taking over the desktop.

I had a go at getting something going on the forums a while back
(http://www.ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=362599), although there
doesn't seem to be a huge amount of interest.
It looks like the control center isn't being exposed at all anymore - is
that right? In which case I'll give this up.
