I can confirm I've seen this one on every version of Ubuntu since Dapper and I'm still seeing this in Feisty 7.04 Attached the current, broken, menu.lst Since then I've mastered this error, but is not nice to have to edit menu.lst on every kernel update and this would definitely scare new users.
