That's a compiz issue, not a network-manager one. The problem is that
the keyring window is not being rendered, so you don't see what you are

I placed the Modem Monitor on the Panel. The Activate selection cannot
be accessed because it is greyed out. I went to Properties and
attempted to complete the dial-up information for a serial modem. On

Looking at it on my system, (Note that I've been messing around and am
using a lot of the stuff from hoary, without sucess sof ar), every other
time that R128CCEWaitForIdle is called, ret=0 and everything is fine.
When not 0, ret=-16 and engine is reset.

using swap on the harddrive is bad, as it could erase a hibernated
