This part is read, with groot=(hd0,0) being the default every time you
run update-grub as Timo mentioned. You will want to add 'groot=(hd0,2)'
after the '# groot'

I can confirm that archives don't appear in Gwenview's file browser.

The offending help file is attached, though I don't understand why that
showed up as the cause of error. It loads fine when loaded directly and
wasn't even part of what I was fidgeting with. (as far as I know...maybe

no - i think its working fine - but then i have very much become a KDE
power user since i filed the bug - and i may have subconsciously
mapped keys... but i think its working ok! I had a problem when i was
using aiglx/beryl - but since i've stopped (becasue of the recent bug
in feisty) its all good

I'm sorry, mozilla-player does not crash who crashes is totem-mozilla.

I'm finding the same issue (I think) in Edgy (6.10), on a basically
brand new install (only added vmware and mythtv). with all updates
applied.
The attempt to return to the in progress session produces a blank screen
and jumping to another virtual tty and back produces a pulsating orange
screen.

This is on current Feisty, regarding the menu that can be found under
Insert->Picture->From File.
I see no reason to default to ~/.openoffice2/user/gallery as a default
file location. First of all it's empty. Second, it's a hidden director
Well, it helps in the sense that I can't change the brightness *at all* when
blacklisting that driver. I found out that when I change to a console,
change my brightness, and change back to X, it works fine too.
So it just doesn't work when I'm in X, and press the change buttons too many

Before the rhythmbox patch to work with control-centre (off the top of
my head) it was not working but it has been since that patch.
