Vincenzo & DanaGoyette: you seem to be describing two separate and
different issues here.
DanaGoyette: Your /proc/devices doesn't show " 254 mmc".
This is probably because you have not got "mmc_block" and/or "mmc_core"
loaded.
Try "lsmod | grep mmc"
if it doesn't show both mmc_core and mmc_b
I have the same problem. Happens also in deluge (bittorrent) for me. I'm

After installing the created package, I do realise that this was a
"stupid thing to do" (tm), as dpkg replaced the real package with this

Oh, my god...the old problem came up again tonight. When I was trying to
start Firefox a few hours ago, it suddenly crashed and the whole system
freezes and I had to shut down the machine with force. When I tried to
reboot via the ubuntu "recovery" mode, I got the following error

I can confirm that this is a problem with Ubuntu Edgy.
I have Amarok 1.4.4 running with MySQL on Fedora Core 6 (Zod) and it scans my
(fairly large) collection just fine. However, I have shared the music files via
a samba share on the Ubuntu box, with the same logical file structure
(/home/music)

appearing like it is trying to connect, and then it fails and reverts

as explained in detail in bug #85394 I just uploaded the most current
timezone data to dapper/edgy-proposed. No TZ merges/splits or other
complicated stuff this time, mostly just DST rule adaptions.
I tested the packages, of course. It would be nice to get this into
