Weird, hal-device-manager has a dependency to python-dbus. What is the

Sorry, the entire Gnome stack was updated in the last days, so I cannot
get a proper stack trace out of this any more. Can you please dist-
upgrade to the latest Feisty and see whether you still have the problem?
If it still crashes, please just file a new bug and say so in this bug

Oh, and please do
dpkg -L python-dbus > python-dbus.files.txt
and attach python-dbus.files.txt here. I have an idea what could be
wrong.

yesterday it happened again It's strange, because it didn't happen for
more time. Yesterday i saw the cpu works heavy with only 2 pages of firefox
opened. I leave the notebook for some minutes, and after I found the system
crashed. I think, but I'm not sure, it depends from the kernel's update.
The strange thing for me here is that if there is no file
/usr/share/foomatic/db/source/driver/gutenprint.xml you should never get
offered the choice of the "gutenprint" driver. For me it looks like that
foomatic-gui is caching and this cache is outdated.
Rejecting gutenprint.

This has nothing to do with CUPS. It is a package
installation/deinstallation problem of the Brother Debian package.
Probably Brother's package is broken.
