Yes indeed, rt73 now works fine, thanks. But I have yet another driver
(em2880) still making me remain under 2.6.19. I am aware that Markus,
the driver mantainer, is working on making it compatible with 2.6.20, so
hopefully I'll be able to run 2.6.20 soon.
However, the main problem is that 2.6.19
the strange thing is with dvd doesn't happen.
cd check was ok, so don't know.

I am having the same problem. For some reason, I cannot pin point an
exact cause of the crash. The report I attached, I uploaded about 15
files to my website, then double-clicked the uploaded directory to chmod
the files inside. Then GFTP froze a created the report for me. I believe
the few times i
1) Tried removing firefox and reinstalling (including removal of
.mozilla directory).
No joy.
2) Tried
firefox -safe-mode
No joy, but terminal window had hundreds of
expr: syntax error
lines.
So seems not to be the extensions, at least not directly.

Attached is output (truncated by Ctrl C) of terminal when running in
safe-mode.
The output from Galeon goes down to end of plugin msgs (no syntax errors
-- just crashes). Epiphany gives same output in terminal when starting

If I recall correctly, I did forcefully shutdown the X server before the
crash, and the crash occurred when I attempted to start Firefox
afterward.
That said, I've been completely unable to reproduce the crash since that
time with that version of Firefox, despite my best efforts to do so.

Phasmus, your oops is completely different. Refrain from adding to this
bug report, and consider opening a new one.
Bad news for this bug. First, this driver has not been maintained
upstream for well over a year (close to two). Second, no one on the
kernel team has it so we can't debug it.

Hi there,
I recently upgraded my edgy to kde 3.5.6. Now I want to compile kerry
and i need the libkonq4-dev package. Unfortunately there is an unmet
dependancy. Seems to be a naming issue...

Steps to reproduce this ..hmm I dont know I presume -> start XGL
session, close computer - then boot in a gnome session. Feisty Herd 3.

The problem here is that python2.5-minimal should depend on python2.5
which is does not.
If you install python2.5 then try again things should work.
Can an Ubuntu developer confirm that this is the solution and update the
dependency.

The error returned after yesterdays update. The system always freezes
after checking a filesystem. I must disable a wireless card in order to
sign into the system as a normal user.

I don't know for this specific file why it is that dpkg -L lists it when
"it is not installed with that package" or indeed what "it is not
installed with that package" means.
On my machine the file /usr/lib/gcc/i486-linux-gnu/4.1.2/libgcc_s.so
exists and is a symlink to /lib/libgcc_s.so.1.
