If prism2 is enabled, the prism2_cs driver gets loaded when orinoco_pci
cards are used.
The wireless connection does work with this driver.

up and remembered that had gotten rid of some of my music and my
collection needed updating. So I tried the new feature, update
collection and it didn't appear to do anything.
I might as well also note that
* The xen-image-*, xen-headers-* et al. packages are named very strangely.
Wouldn’t linux-xen-image-* or linux-image-*-xen be a better name?
* linux-restricted-modules is missing for the 2.6.19 xen kernels.
* There should be metapackages depending on the latest xen

now defaulting to Xshm rather than Xv visuals. This may be due to
incompatibilities between Xv and Xcomposite with the radeon driver, but
I don't have confirmation on this point.

I confirm this: Edgy up to date has the same problem for a Thinkpad T60.
The sleep and hibernate sometimes work, and most times don't. Rather
inconsistently. I have noticed that sometimes my swap partition is not
on at all, I have to manually go to gparted and right-click and
"swapon". Then 'top'

Unfortunately, the debugsymbol repository, doesn't have synce packages.
If I have any time later this week, I'll compile the package myself.
Other ideas that do not involve compiling are welcome of course.
BTW I narrowed the problem down to synchronising 'Appointments', that
is, the calendar. Task

Darn, nothing more helpful is displayed. With quiet and splash removed,
I still get a hang at the Loading Linux Kernel dialog (this time at
37%).

I figured out. Firefox was crashing because of Colorzilla extension. Now
I think someone should take a look at it, as crashing is not really the
best way to tell „I don't like this extension“. ;)
BTW, as Colorzilla provides its own binary components, maybe Ubuntu
could package it into a deb?..

The latest Rhythmbox update made it possible for me to use my apple
remote to control it. However, pressing the forward button continuously,
or just pressing it often in a row, causes rhythmbox to segfault,
leaving the following in the terminal:
