[Feisty] linux-restricted-modules comes with fglrx kernel module 8.32
I'm currently using banshee-daap 0.11.5 and it gives me a nice message
that iTunes7 is not supported. I'de like to say this is not a "fix" for
the problem as I still can not access the shares. The daap protocol
needs to be updated so this works.
I went on IRC the the banshee channel and basically
edit /etc/apt/sources.list
takeout anything that looks truncated or not like the others

This has been solved in Feisty or in other words the next version of Gnome.
You can now select what device you would like for use as your volume buttons.
Very nice feature and much needed. (It is found in System Preferences Sound)
You may now mark this bug as fixed.

i.e. 'sudo gedit /etc/modprobe.d/ipw2200' add the following text to it, save,
and after your next reboot you will have a functioning blue LED. 'options

Can the original poster please paste their /etc/apt/sources.list? There
was no kde 3.5.6 upgrade for dapper, so that shouldnt have been the

I just discovered something important. In my BIOS, if I change the
"SATA Operation" setting from the default which is AHCI (Advanced Host
Controller Interface) to ATA, I am able to boot from Feisty Fawn Herd 1
and 2 just fine! I don't really know what SATA Operation means and
whether or not Ubunt
Linked upstream bug. Looks like they are hesitant to change to
/bin/bash as it will break on BSD, so instead the script should be fixed
to run on dash. But this fix works for ubuntu.

Tentatively, I figured this out. It looks like the problem is that if
NetworkManager is not running or is not able to connect (e.g. because of a
static IP configuration), then Banshee will assume there is no network

I run amd64 version of Feisty 7.04 Herd2 with all actual updates.
The only real problem I have is that I cannot get Klamav working stable.
Its starts, even a manual scan works well, but after a few secs, when scan is
finished, or if it runs only

You want us to remove the *complete* kopete source package and all of
its binaries, or just the 'kopete-dev' binary? I. e. did only the
headers move to kdenetwork-dev, or did the program itself move to
kdenetwork as well?
