I have not seen this with rhythmbox. It happens with totem consistently
whenever playing a ~10 track directory. It stops playing at a random
track and requires the user to restart nautilus to continue playing (the

with ubitquity:

On the latest l-r-m on Feisty, I cannot use fglrx in X. It doesn't load
automatically (though X is configured to use it) and I get the following error
when I try to modprobe:
# (sudo) modprobe fglrx
FATAL: Error
This isn't really something that can reasonably be secured against. The
best a user can do is verify (with alt-F7, alt-F8, etc) that a new X
session has been started when they select "switch user".
I'm open to any suggestions to improve the situation, though.

I'm having the same annoyance on edgy, it happens when running KDE
applications like amarok. In the desktop file for HTTP Cache Cleaner
(/usr/share/services/http_cache_cleaner.desktop) there is a line "X-KDE-
StartupNotify=false" which probably avoids that the program appears in
the window list in

Thanks for reminding. I did several fresh installations and I found out,
that a third party script called "smsjoker" should be the problem. I did
not use it any more and now knotify is back again.

Hello Roberto Sarrionandia,
I just tested it at BBC and you are right. Realplayer doesn't work. I changed
the settings to Windows Media Player and know it works. No crash. ~:)
Only for completeness I attach the output from about:plugins.

After some tinkering with the partitioner and retrying the install 3 or
4 times, it finally installed. Problem solved for now but maybe the info
in this bug report will help someone find the reason for the crashes.
