Well, I tried it again in with the same Thunar version as before (=
current Thunar in Xubuntu Dapper):
1. Open Thunar
2. select a file (or files)
3. duplicate by method #1 or #3.
The created copy (or copies) was/were not selected. Method #2 seems to select
the created copy (or copies).

It's not possible to add a printer (Brother HL 2030) that is connected via usb.
The printer is detected by "kcmshell kcmusb". But kdeprint/cups can't find the
printer. The Problem could be similar to bug #59502. (the solution isn't really
understandable to me, sorry.)

This is actually a pretty common issue with a lot of video cards ATI &
Nividia, in fact I experienced it myself on my laptop with an ATI card.
One option you can try is booting up in recovery mode and modifying
your /etc/X11/xorg.conf file and where it says:

Kubuntu Feisty sound
I agree with Monty that it's nice that a way to submit bugs exist, but
this bug is about reportbug & bug-buddy. As it is now, if it's a KDE
bug, I submit it via the KDE gui, to KDE, and skip Ubuntu. If the help
menus start pointing to this tool, then it'll go to launchpad, and
that's great - but

The solution I would prefer is patching nautilus to have a configuration
area for scripts as mentioned above, your solution can't be integrated
into a package unfortunately, because packages can't contain data for
user home directories.

I have packaged HPLIP 1.7.1 and there ADF scanning work correctly for me
