Yes, the problem still exist. I have found something else out:
restored gnome-terminal windows didn't blink, after I logged in. But
when I switch the workspace they start to blink.

I've been able to work around this problem by adding /usr/share/python-
support/python-urlgrabber to my PYTHONPATH before running yum, though
presumably there's a better fix to be had.

I guess the word I was missing was that it only happened on a fresh
install so I just wanted to clarify. If this problem exists on other
operating systems then it is actually an issue with firefox and not
something Ubuntu has done to modify firefox.

Somewhy the installer crash screen says to post a new bug instead of
adding to an existing bug so I'm doing that although I know this is a
duplicate.
The installer of Feisty Fawn Herd 2 crashed while reading the
