I'm experiencing the same crash of Kpilot that Avdi Grimm did back in
November. When the date book is synchronizing, kpilot crashes. I've
attached the backtrace log it generated, but I believe it's the same as
Avdi had. I tried this both the proposed edgy updates noted above and
with kpilot compile

We packaged serpentine before Debian, the packaging is different and the
Debian version is a new one. There is no reason to keep a different
packaging, the new version builds fine on feisty

I know it really went wobbly on me big time. I have been able to get it
to work but I need to start beryl manually from terminal. It doesn't
like it when I use the option from the session menu. I just wish It
worked with Fluxbox but unfortunately it is a wm and not a desktop manager.
Actually I'm not. A fix has just been uploaded.

1. Composite was disabled in xorg.conf
2. I tried to add noapic, it booting and then freezes, when it must show me
login screen.
3. When i use nolapic it boots, but USB devices doesn't work. And machine

Just experienced this in Edgy - Gparted, can confirm it makes things a
bit of a pain.

Agreed, this could become really annoying. Right now it doesn't report
more than two crashes in a row for any given app, but the quiet time
only lasts for a day. This short-term flood protection needs to be
accompanied by a long-term 'get out of my eyes' option.
