Even with the automatic partitioner it is possible to get in a situation
where you try to install on a / partition that is too small. There
should be a warning in this case. The case for manual partitioning is
more complicated and will be treated
I'm making as high priority because someone who selects automated
partitioning would expect it to 'just work'. In the manual case (which
is more complicated to fix) we can share some of the blame with the user
who could be expected to know the various disk requirements.

I have the same problem: my cifs entries in /etc/fstab aren't mounted at
boot. This problem has existed in Dapper for about two weeks, and is

I am not sure if this will help much, but I used a cheap camera phone to
take a picture of some of the messages I see when booting Ubuntu 6.06
with APIC enabled on my system. The last message I see before the
reboot (that is if I snapped the picture in time) is "Checking if image
is initramfs.

eog always crashes under Feisty, even outside Nautilus.
When trying to open an image file directly by starting eog and then open an
image file, eog responds with the following:

Segmentation fault (core dumped)
... and then returns. No bug report.

camera by Windows Movie Maker.
This worked first time round when the AVI was stored on local machine,
but the second AVI was too large to fit on the local HDD; so I mounted

This problem happened to me when I set up an webdavs share used an
incorrect configuration on my server. Using this (incorrect) share,
Firefox whould open the "davs://" URI. When I'd fixed the error however,
nautilus opened the share like it should.
I suppose it could be that the server sends an e
no response. Rejecting. Feel free to reopen with more information.

I also can confirm the bug and that flumotion started working after I
downloaded and installed the packages flumotion 0.2.2 and python-central
0.5.8 from the official debian repositories.

Package prepared and tested. The tzdata2006p.tar.gz already installs a
symlink from America/Coral_Harbour to America/Atikokan, thus no postinst
magic is necessary after all. I tested the upgrade on dapper with that
timezone and everything works well.

I can confirm this bug is still present also in a full patched Xubuntu 6.10.
I build rezound under Zenwalk 4.0 and it runs without any problems. However
