crashes when removing 2 identic
The crash is with 2.0beta3.1, debug backtrace:
"...
#0 gaim_blist_alias_buddy (buddy=0x0, alias=0x8577550 "Stephen") at
../../src/blist.c:895
#1 0xb694c490 in jabber_roster_alias_change (gc=0x85e4e00, name=0x86c8140
"[EMAIL PROTECTED]",
alias=0x84ae3c0 "Stephen") at ../../../../src/protoc
Sorry.
I used to specify in the makefile
-lcdk -lncurses_g
This triggers the problem.
If I avoid to link the cdk library (libcdk5) everything works fine.
As you should never link both (afaik), the bug is non existent.

aiglx! not tried with xgl because I want to stay with "radeon" driver.
could you also inform the developers that changing video output (by
gstreamer-properties command) to "X window system (No Xv)" removes the
problem?

Could you get a backtrace of the crash with the instructions from the

The coredump are limited to 200M by default probably, can you get that
crash reliably? In which case maybe try running evolution with gdb and
get the backtrace from gdb directly

@fuoco:
Can you please provide some hints on how you managed to backport the
newer mesa packages? I've got basic linux skills, but I'm not yet
familiar with compiling and installing packages from source.
Thanks in advance!

it depends on libmotif-dev, which is in multiverse. It used to depend on
