cryptsetup doesn't give any error message, but when I try to mount,
mount refuses to work saying it didn't find the superblock as if i had
passed the wrong key to cryptsetup.

Depending of what the fix is. It's fixed on feisty by the new version,
if you isolate the patch fixing that bug we can backport it probably.

updates and rebooted, and now it doesn't boot.

Expanding on my previous comment, while -6 only runs /scripts/local-
bottom (I believe it's only that) before waiting for root files

Just upgraded from Dapper to Edgy, with the gnome upgrade, gnome-power-
manager no longer reads my battery right. When I unplugged it it stayed
at 100% (3 hours remaining) for quite a while, then jumped suddenly to
66% (2 hours remaining).

Identical issue to the one originally reported with Edgy release, all
packages up to date as of time of this post, on a Gateway 6525GP.
Touchpad works before suspend, but stops functioning after resume and
its nodes in /dev/input disappear. Issue does not manifest after
hibernate.

As well, the default xorg.conf should point to /dev/input/wacom, not
/dev/wacom. wacom-tools will create this device.

It has been very stable for me so far, and it has some important new
features which make the whole program much more useful, amongst others:
openoffice and lyx integration and querying external databases.

I don't suppose you know the type of security you accepted. It may be
meaningful if it is HTTPS versus SSL. What bit encryption? Can either of you
give a more detailed view of your system, what version of FX etc?
