When using MSN on Gaim, if the person seems to have a lot of emoticon
(although unsure about it) , I noticed a lag when sending the message. I
can send a message and it sometimes take 30 seconds to display and/or
send. I don t have a network issue as other like yahoo , jabber
changing to high importance, as user's data is getting lost here.

Can someone from the Ubuntu Core Developer Team set the seeds so that
- linuxprinting.org-ppds goes onto the desktop CDs of Feisty and is in Main
- linuxprinting.org-ppds-extra goes does not go onto the desktop CDs of Feisty

the package.
The diff against the original edgy script is mich bigger because there
changed some other things, too.
So for your convenience here is the patch against the current edgy
version. I guess it will work, but its not

ok, the problem is still there, with edgy package and all the package on feisty
until now: mysql-server-5.0_5.0.27-1_amd64.deb
It looks like a compilation problem.
Hint: I'm running it on a Pentium4 D

On Edgy I have solved with a symbolic link from /usr/share/X11/fonts to
/usr/share/fonts/X11.
I think this workaround is better than the '-fp' one, because in the '-fp'
manner Xvnc knows only about 'misc' sub-directory, and not about the others
(100dpi, 75dpi, Type1 etc.).

Just wanted to add that normally I don't have any problems with Gmail
and Firefox. In 99% of all cases, it works like a charm. Still, I
thought that filing the report might help.

Thanks. This is update-grub trying to be smarter than it is - it will
try to detect a RAID and pick the right raw device but fails, and falls
back to (hd0,0).

Jonathan, can you try out whether your Lexmark X73 works with
Gutenprint? If your printer setup tool does not offer you Gutenprint as
a driver choice, please choose the Lexmark Z42 or Z43 as printer model
in the tool. Tell with which one (Z42 or Z43) you get the better
results.

This happens generally at power-off, not only at hibernation. I can
reproduce it by booting with init=/bin/bash and running "poweroff -f". I
am only changing the kernel. With 2.6.17 it turns quietly off every
time, with 2.6.19 it makes the ugly sound almost every time.
