It is possible that this is a more global problem. The debian/control
file does not contain anything related to libgcj7:
Depends: bigloo (>= 2.4b-3), ${shlibs:Depends}, ${misc:Depends}
So my conclusion would be that ${misc:Depends} somehow includes libgcj7.

I have just updated my dapper system to edgy and have some very strange
problems that I suspect are related but do not know how. The system is
an AMD64 system on an asus motherboard A8N-VM. This board caused some
problems in dapper until I updated the bios. There are no mor
WAIT!
Use this patch instead. I've added:
gct -s -t bool /apps/gksu/disable-grab true
Which stops the screen grab of gksudo for some users.

Well, mute doesn't work on both laptop speakers and headphone.
When pressing the mute key nothing changes in kmix.
I have two channels, PCM and Front which control sound output.
The key for lower/higher volume is changing the PCM channel.
Appearently the PCM channel can't be muted - even in kmix.

2000 agp - Xserver tries to start, but only gives a black screen with the
