I can confirm this bug. I have 1.5GB of memory free and I've just seen a
crash message from ssindex caused by beagled. My kern.log shows nothing
untoward.
Crash report attached. The file comm_jar_includes.csv being indexed is
from the Thunderbird source code tree. I'll attached this file too

Yeah, on dapper I would reach a certain size of googleearth and have to stop
making it larger.
However, I just tried it on edgy and it seems to be all good, the googleearth
window renders correctly when I open it and I can fullscreen it with no ill
effects :)

As php4 (both the new version and the current one in edgy) build-depends on

I have the same problem in the released version of dapper.
This problem was always present on the Edgy knot 2. I have not tested on
the knot 3 or the beta release of edgy.
As a side effect of the "acpi=off noapic" options, my PC does not
automatically poweroff after a halt.

Problem with ACPI
My cdrom is IDE and all my disks are SATA, there is no reason for the
IDE disk to change the order of the SATA disks. I have two identical
SATA disks, 80G and one 300G. Seems Ubuntu wanted to recognise the
biggest disk as the first one. Once I removed the 300G, installed and
then put back the 300G
Here is the file comm_jar_includes.csv that causes ssindex to crash.
It's a plain text file, not comma separated data.
Running:

Now I don't remeber what was the problem with libglib2.0-dev, but if you
install anjuta on kubuntu dapper project autogeneration (starting a new
project) fails unless you have installed autoconf, automake and libtool
by hand.
kdevelop3 depends on autoconf and automake.

There is a duplicate /etc/X11/rgb.txt and /usr/lib/X11/rgb.txt. But specifying
one of these in .vncrc does not help:

Seems like the format is wrong.
Maybe /etc/vnc.conf should set $XFConfigPath = "/etc/X11/xorg.conf" as

Hi all,
I can confirm that this bug is still present in the Edgy beta. I tried
out the savage driver again, graphics performance is **much** better
than with vesa, but it has trouble initialising X.
The vesa driver graphics performance seems to have deteriorated a lot
between dapper and edgy. In

I can reproduce this problem on two machines with Edgy. I use regular
POP3 accounts, so I doubt this bug has something to do with account
type.

In the changelog for Debian 0.12.0-2:
* Add patch to fix xmalloc assertion with some MP3 files. This does not
really fix #390417, as the files do not play, but mpd --create-db will no
longer crash.
